For the geographically challenged, here's a map that shows where SP state is in Brazil, and then where the megacity is.

This gives you an idea of its size!!! There always seem to be way more highrises in city centers here than in many cities in Canada.

I was in this subway station... most of the time the "metrôs" were quite crowded (esp. during rush hour), until a popular stop where people had to switch to another line or something. Then we could sit!

This is a really cool station - "Station of the Light" - built by the English. We switched from subway to train here, to go to Poá. I wished I could've spent time there - it actually is a museum as well. :)
